Within earshot of the Little League World Series, Yacksel Rios, Mark Meadors, and Manaure Martinez of the Williamsport Crosscutters combined to no-hit Mahoning Valley in an 8-0 win on Sunday. Rios, Meadors, and Martinez combined for ten Ks and just three walks, allowing no runners to reach beyond second base. Rios, 20, is in his first season with the Crosscutters after coming to the Phillies via the 12th round of the 2011 draft. Meadors, 21, was a 21st round pick in the 2013 draft out of Cowley County Community College while Martinez, 21 and better known as Manny, was an international signing out of Venezuela in 2011.
