Phillies Announce 2014 Schedule

The Phillies 2014 schedule was released with a few highlights:

-They’ll open on the road in Texas on March 31, battling the Rangers for three. From there, they move to Chicago to take on the Cubs.

-The schedule at Citizens Bank Park opens on Monday, April 7 at 3:05 against the Milwaukee Brewers.  That’ll be the front end of a 10-game homestand with the Brewers, Marlins, and Braves.

-Interleague play this year involves the Phillies hosting the Angels, Astros, Blue Jays, and Mariners. It’s Seattle’s first-ever trip to Citizens Bank Park. They’ll also travel to the LA Angels of Anaheim, Oakland, Toronto, and Texas, where they’ll open up the season.

-The Angels are in Philly May 13-14. The Phillies travel to Anaheim August 12-13 and Oakland September 19-21.

-The Phillies Phestival takes place Monday, May 19.

-The MLB All-Star break is July 14-17.
