Tonight: Monster Factory, PN Partner to Slam Hunger!

The grapplers of the World Famous Monster Factory are teaming up with the leading source of Phillies news and analysis to form a partnership to slam hunger this holiday season! At the Monster Factory’s next event, the Second Annual Turkey Slam, November 16 at 8 PM, this new tag team is partnering to collect food donations for the Food Bank of South Jersey, a group fighting hunger and malnutrition in South Jersey since 1985.

The Second Annual Turkey Slam, featuring former WWE superstars the Blue Meanie and Cliff Compton, is sure to sellout. Monster Factory owner Danny Cage, Phillies Nation CEO Brian Michael, and personality Ian Riccaboni saw an opportunity to make this event be more than your average pro wrestling show. For South Jersey native Brian Heffron, this issue hit close to home.

“The people of South Jersey have given the staff and students of the Monster Factory so much in the way of support through our live events. We at the Monster Factory think it is only right of us to give back to the community. As much as we are a community of pro wrestlers, we are a member of the South Jersey community,” said Atlantic City native Heffron, better known by his WWE and ECW persona, the Blue Meanie.

Tickets to the event are $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Those who bring items to donate will receive raffle tickets to win great prizes from the Monster Factory and Phillies Nation, including autographed photos and memorabilia. Doors open at 7 PM for a meet and greet with Monster Factory superstars before they duke it out in the scheduled double main event: a 30-man battle royal and a five-on-five elimination match.

If you are unable to make it to this event, please consider giving a tax-deductible donation here. Every dollar donated to the Food Bank of South Jersey can purchase five meals. Cash donations will

not be accepted at the event.
