Per Matt Provence of the IronPigs, the coaching staff for the Triple-A  will add former Phillies second baseman Mickey Morandini as its bench coach. Morandini spent 2011 as the manager of the Williamsport Crosscutters and the last two seasons as the manager of the Lakewood BlueClaws, posting a combined 161-189 managerial record. Morandini hit .267/.334/.360 in 3829 PA with the Phillies from 1990-1997 and 2000, and is 13th all-time among qualified second basemen in fielding percentage. Morandini was an All-Star with the Phillies in 1995.

Additionally, IronPigs manager Dave Brundage will be returning for his second season, along with pitching coach Ray Burris, and hitting coach Sal Rende. 2014 will be the second and fourth seasons for Burris and Rende respectively with the IronPigs in these roles.
