vs.
CHI: RHP Jeff Samardzija (0-0, 0.00)

A Note for Tonight:

Jimmy Rollins is back in the lineup after leaving to be with his wife and their new daughter; he’s hitting second, the spot that Carlos Ruiz had held the last few games. Ruiz, who gets the day off, has been solid to begin the year. Wil Nieves gets his first look behind the dish.

During the first four games the Phillies have seen plenty of pitches. Yesterday, they forced the Cubs to throw 171. The Phillies also rank 4th in the majors in on-base percentage heading into today’s game at .360. Again, it’s just four games, but it’s hard to complain.

Lineup:

Revere CF / Rollins SS / Utley 2B / Howard 1B / Byrd RF / Brown LF / Nieves C / Asche 3B / Lee P
