Gameday 7: Brewers vs. Phillies

Milwaukee Brewers (4-2) at Philadelphia Phillies (3-3)

Starting Pitchers:
PHI: RHP Kyle Kendrick (0-0, 1.29)
vs.
MIL: RHP Kyle Lohse (0-1, 3.86)

Time: 4:05, Citizens Bank Park
TV: NBC10
Weather: Partly Cloudy/Windy, 65
Media: Twitter and Facebook

A Note for Tonight:

Chase Utley is not in the lineup today, he’s been scratched from the home opener with the flu. Carlos Ruiz will slot in that spot in the order. He’s never started a game batting third in his career, and has just two career at-bats in that place in the order. They’ll miss Utley who was leading all NL hitter in slugging percentage through the first week. That’s the bad news.

The other bad news is that the Phillies are just 3-7 in 10 home openers in Citizens Bank Park, losing last year’s game to the Royals 13-4. Let’s hope for a different outcome with Kyle Kendrick against former Phillie Kyle Loshe. Good news, please.

Lineup:

Revere CF / Rollins SS / Ruiz C / Howard 1B / Byrd RF / Brown LF / C. Hernandez 2B / Asche 3B / Kendrick P
