Hamels Throws 4 Inning Rehab Start in Clearwater

Cole Hamels tossed four innings in Clearwater today against the Dunedin Blue Jays, giving up two runs while striking out four. The two runs came on two solo homers by leadoff hitter Dwight Smith Jr.  Yes, that Dwight Smith. Hamels tossed 50 pitches, 33 for strikes.

There’s a chance we see Hamels in the Phillies rotation by the end of the month, barring setbacks.
