Gameday 65: Cubs vs. Phillies

Chicago Cubs (26-38) at Philadelphia Phillies (28-36)

Starting Pitchers:
CHI: Jake Arrieta (1-1, 2.50)
vs.
PHI: Roberto Hernandez (2-4, 4.35)

Time: 7:05, Citizens Bank Park
TV: CSN
Weather: Chance of Thunderstorms, 73
Media: Twitter and Facebook

A Note for Tonight: The Phillies just swept a team with a poor record, and now they face another team who sits in the cellar of their division. The Cubs are the only team in the National League with less wins than the Phillies. A win tonight would give the Phillies a season-high four-game winning streak. Another sweep would be important for Philadelphia, as they need to prove they are better than a last-place caliber team.

Also, Jimmy Rollins is two hits away from passing Mike Schmidt as the Phillies’ all-time leader in hits.

Lineup: Gwynn CF, Rollins SS, Utley 2B, Howard 1B, Byrd RF, Brown LF, Ruiz C, Brignac 3B, Kendrick P
