Gameday 116: Mets at Phillies

New York Mets (55-61) at Philadelphia Phillies (52-64)

Starting Pitchers:
NYM: Dillon Gee (4-4, 3.73)
vs.
PHI: Cole Hamels (6-6, 2.42)

Time: 7:05, Citizens Bank Park
TV: CSN
Weather: 82, Partly Cloudy
Media: Twitter and Facebook

A Note for Today: The Phillies couldn’t pull off the miracle comeback in yesterday’s 5-4 loss to the Mets.  Cole Hamels is on the mound tonight, and he’s been one of the sole reasons to continue to watch this team.  However, tonight isn’t all about the Phillies vs. Mets; it’s about the induction of Charlie Manuel into the Phillies Wall of Fame. Manuel managed the Phillies from 2005-2013, leading them to a World Championship in 2008.  He

took the Phillies to the postseason five times. Manuel finished his career with 1,000 wins, and will go on the Wall as one of the Phillies’ all-time greatest managers.

Lineup:  Revere CF /Rollins SS / Utley 2B / Howard 1B / Byrd RF / Brown LF/ Ruiz C/ Asche 3B /Hamels P.
