Bastardo Dealt to Pittsburgh

Phillies lefty reliever Antonio Bastardo is on his way to the Pirates, according to reports. In return, the Phillies get Joely Rodriguez, a 23-year-old starter who finished last season at Double-A.

Bastardo spent six seasons with the Phillies, posting a 3.72 ERA over 275 appearances.

Rodriguez was 6-11 last year with a 4.84 ERA at Altoona. He made 21 starts and 30 total appearances.
