Phillies Make a Handful of Moves

Monday morning, the Phillies announced a series of moves. They optioned pitchers Jesse Biddle, Adam Morgan, and Ethan Martin to minor league camp, in addition to outfielder Aaron Altherr. They also reassigned Sean O’Sullivan and John Hester to minor league camp, and released Xavier Paul

The Phils are down to 52 players in Major League camp, including 17 non-roster invitees, and two rule 5 picks–Odubel Herrera and Andy Oliver.
