A Note for Today:

The Phillies square off against the Yankees for the third time in four days. This contest marks the spring debut of Phillies ace and potential trade candidate Cole Hamels. Hamels, whose offseason comments regarding his place during the Phillies rebuild, will have each start scrutinized and magnified due to his possible willingness to be traded by the July deadline. Hamels posted a 9-9 record in 2014 with a career low 2.46 ERA in 30 starts.

Lineup: Herrera, CF / Galvis, SS / Sizemore, DH / Howard, 1B / Ruf, LF / Asche, 3B / Ruiz, C / Francoeur, RF / Phelps 2B
