A Note for Tonight:

No Chase Utley, no Ryan Howard tonight in the lineup.  After a close loss to the Giants last night, the Phillies will look to get a win against one of the toughest lefties in the league, Madison Bumgarner.  The Phillies went down swinging last night, with Maikel Franco and Ryan Howard both going yard for the Phillies in a 5-4 loss.

Franco gets moved up the order today batting third, as we see an lineup full of young Phillies prospects that have been in sights for years.  With Cesar Hernandez at second, Freddy Galvis at short, and Darin Ruf at first base, we will see the future of the Phillies infield on showcase, with another prospect on the mound, Severino Gonzalez.

Severino has started 4 games for the Phillies this year, and bolsters a high K/BB ratio and a low 1.59 BB/9.  After gathering a 23.63 ERA in his first start in the Majors this year, Severino brought his ERA down to 6.88 over his next 3 starts and looks to improve that against a hitting team that sits at first in the league for hits, and 16th for runs.

Phillies look to take a win away from the Giants, coming up at 3:05 EST.

Lineup:

Revere CF,  Hernandez 2B,Franco 3B, Ruf 1B,  Francouer RF, Asche LF, Galvis SS, Ruiz C, Gonzalez RHP
