A Note for Today:

With news that Maikel Franco has made it to the DL, space has been made for the controversial, Chase Utley, to continue to get bats in a Phillies uniform.  Cesar Hernandez will get the start at third base, as Utley gets the start at second, leading off the batting order.

Aaron Altherr has gotten the call-up in place of Franco, but will wait to come off the bench for tonight’s game.

Starting on the mound tonight for the Phillies is newest pitching prospect, Aaron Nola, who has started 5 games for the Phillies so far this year, sporting a 4.25 ERA and a 6.98 K/9 ratio.

The Phillies offense will face R.A. Dickey, who had his last start against the Phillies on July 29th, picking up the win with 8.0 innings pitched, allowing 7 hits and 2 runs.

Oh yeah, welcome back Ben Revere, batting 7th for the Jays.

First pitch at 7:05 EST in this two game series, starting tonight.

Utley 2B, Hernandez 3B, Herrera CF, Francoeur RF,  Ruf 1B, Asche LF, Galvis SS, Rupp C, Nola LHP
