A Note for Today:

Get out your brooms, the Phillies are looking at another sweep against the Atlanta Braves today.  The team has taken an abrupt turn around since the halfway point of the year, going 12-2 since the all-star break.

Adam Morgan will get the start on the mound for the Phillies today as he looks to get his third win of the season.  Morgan has looked decent as of late, pitching for 6.0 innings in his last start, only giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while getting the win.  With Cole Hamels out of the picture, it looks like Adam Morgan will be starting his tenure as a Phillies rotation starter.

The Braves are scrambling today, giving their line-up a facelift in an attempt to throw off the bad mojo against the ‘worst team in baseball’.

The Phillies offense has been alive and well, collecting 68 hits in the last 7 days, and scoring 41 runs.  Dominic Brown is finally showing his bat off at the plate, getting his first and second homeruns of the season in this last week as well.  No one can say what will happen the rest of this year, but the Phillies are finally bringing back some excitement to Citizens Bank Park.

Catch the action and potential sweep at 1:35 EST.

Lineup:

Hernandez 2B, Herrera CF, Franco 3B, Howard 1B, Brown RF, Galvis SS, Asche LF, Rupp C, Morgan LHP
