A Note for Today:

Aaron Harang gets the start today on the mound for the Phillies.  Harang has had a few rough starts in his last three games, going for at least 5.0 innings in each start, but giving up 32 hits and 13 earned runs.  In his last start on July 30th Harang had only given up 1 run on 9 hits, picking up his first win since May 14th.   Harang looks to continue that success tonight, as the team has won 13 of the 16 games since the all-star break in mid-July.

Looking ahead on the schedule the Phillies have a lot of divisional games to play yet, many games against those that are hurting as of late too.  The Mets, Braves and Marlins are plaguing the last two months of the schedule, while there are a few series’ looking to be a little difficult there’s not much that looks too terribly difficult.  Prepare yourself for an exciting last half of the year, if you weren’t excited already.

Lineup looks the same as last night, with Jeff Francouer in the cleanup spot again even after stranding men on base last night in the bottom of the 3rd where Ryan Howard could have been.

First pitch coming up next.

Lineup:

Hernandez 2B, Herrera CF, Franco 3B, Francouer RF, Howard 1B, Ruf LF, Galvis SS, Ruiz C, Harang RHP
