Phillies moments of 2016 that will make your heart swell with pride

Being a Phillies fan will give you as much satisfaction as it would give you when playing an online gambling game on websites such as . Being the heartbeat of Philadelphia, the Phillies do everything in their might to make that beat even stronger and their 2016 season was none other than breathtaking.

20 Home runs for Freddy Galvis
Giving each fan something to boast about, Galvis scored an impressive 11 home runs in the course of 36 games. Given that, he slashed an impressive .279/.329/.581 for .910 OPS, a clear sign of fantastic baseball skills. As another new season approaches, fans hope that these skills keep partaking in the game.

Walking Odubel Herrera
Herrera walked a total of 28 times in 2015 and kept following the same pattern in the beginning of 2016. By making a few adjustments, it showed in his play and improved his totals at the end of the year.

Hitting Coach Matt Stairs
When Steve Henderson was fired and had to leave the Phillies team, a smart move was made by team managers to replace him with Matt Stairs. Stairs, being used to his spot in the booth, now had to give the knowledge he had on hitting over to the hitters of the Phillies team; hopefully improving their discipline while at it.

Franco hits a high score in Colorado
Maikel Franco hit an amazing home run at the Coors Field on the 10th of July 2016. Coming to a halt on the second deck, a staggering 471 feet away, it has not only become one of the longest home runs for the Phillies, it has also become number four on MLB’s list of Top Ten Longest Home Runs for 2016.

Phillies the Farm System
As the Phillies have seen some of the worst baseball players in history, the last two years had seen a light at the end of a very long tunnel . The entire team is now filled with young talent that promises improvements of the best quality; hence being dubbed with the best Farm System title.

Double play
One of the best games of the season can only be the one where Rupp showed his remarkable skill. At first it seemed as if the Phillies will win, then their luck changed for the worst. Then Rupp secured the win by catching and holding onto the ball when colliding into the dirt, every single Phillies fan roared with spirit.

The Phillies will keep giving fans something to look out for and things can only get better from here on out.
