Phillies 2017 Schedule Released

For the second consecutive year, the Phillies will open the season in Cincinnati, on Monday, April 3rd. The Phils home opener will feature a late Friday afternoon tilt against the Washington Nationals on April 7th at 3:05.

The Phillies will take a tour of the American League West in 2017 – traveling to the Los Angeles Angels and Texas Rangers, where they’ll see old friend in Cole Hamels.  The Phils will host the Seattle Mariners for two games in May, the Houston Astros in July, and the Oakland A’s in September.  The matchup with the A’s – the first in Philly since 2011 – will recall the days of the early 20th century City Series

between the two teams.  The Phillies also have a 2-game home-and-home series against the Boston Red Sox in mid-June.

A scheduling quirk in the month of September has the Phillies playing 16 of their final 19 games in the regular season at the friendly confines of Citizens Bank Park.
