Gold Glove winners announced, but no Phillies

We missed this nugget of news this morning, but the Gold Glove award winners were announced Tuesday night. And Freddy Galvis and Odubel Herrera did not win.

Here are the winners, via Yahoo! Sports:

CATCHER
AL: Salvador Perez, Kansas City Royals
NL: Buster Posey, San Francisco Giants

FIRST BASE
AL: Mitch Moreland, Texas Rangers
NL: Anthony Rizzo, Chicago Cubs

SECOND BASE
AL: Ian Kinsler, Detroit Tigers
NL: Joe Panik, San Francisco Giants

THIRD BASE
AL: Adrian Beltre, Texas Rangers
NL: Nolan Arenado, Colorado Rockies

SHORTSTOP
AL: Francisco Lindor, Cleveland Indians
NL: Brandon Crawford, San Francisco Giants

LEFT FIELD
AL: Brett Gardner, New York Yankees
NL: Starling Marte, Pittsburgh Pirates

CENTER FIELD
AL: Kevin Kiermaier, Tampa Bay Rays
NL: Ender Inciarte, Atlanta Braves

RIGHT FIELD
AL: Mookie Betts, Boston Red Sox
NL: Jason Heyward, Chicago Cubs

PITCHER
AL: Dallas Keuchel, Houston Astros
NL: Zack Greinke, Arizona Diamondbacks

Pretty much in line across the board; it’s hard to dispute any of these. But one omission from the nominees that I forgot – what about Jeremy Hellickson? He fielded his position extremely well last year for the Phils (he always has, and has a Gold Glove already).
