Phillies fan wins Best Fan Catch in MLB awards

Good morning! And happy high school reunion day across the Delaware Valley. Here’s what’s going on:

Congratulations Dennis, who’s the only person to win an award this year for the Phillies. (Unless you count the entire farm system as a person.)

This is a problem. Tons of fake sites will tell you complete lies. Don’t believe news unless it’s reported from reputable sources – for the Phillies, we’re talking reporters like Todd Zolecki, Jim Salisbury, Ryan Lawrence, Meghan Montemurro and Matt Breen. Also, hypothetical trades are fun to write about (we did it ourselves), but those are squarely hypotheticals. Don’t believe anyone who tries to blur the line.

Michael and a few others will be contributing regularly starting in December. More fun stuff ahead!

Tim Malcolm

Tim first found the Phillies as a little infant at Veteran’s Stadium, cheering on a Juan Samuel game-winning home run in his very first game. With the pinstripes in his blood, he witnessed Terry Mulholland’s 1990 no-hitter, “Steve Carlton Night” at the Vet, game three of the 1993 World Series, countless games during the charmed 2008 championship season and various road excursions. Since November 2007 Tim’s been writing about them daily at Phillies Nation, becoming one of the world’s most popular Phillies scribes. You can catch him on Twitter and Facebook, as well. When he’s not talking about the Phils he’s relaxing with a St. Bernardus ABT 12 or one of his many favored brews.
