Stairs hit the final home run Harry Kalas called back in 2009 and also took Jonathan Broxton deep in game four of the 2008 NLCS.

The ball still hasn’t landed.

Stairs will be tasked with turning around an offense that ranked last in runs (610), 29th in team batting average (.240), and 29th in on-base percentage (.301).
