Awards

Best Hitter: Adam Haseley- Haseley hit .305 across two levels and showed major league potential this year as a top-of-the-order presence.

Best Pitcher: David Parkinson- A 1.45 ERA in 22 starts is pretty good – so is a 1.01 WHIP.

Biggest Improvement: Mickey Moniak- He hit .254 before the All- Star Break, but .286 after it. He also hit .311 in August. Moniak may have figured some things out, just in time to enter the hitter-friendly confines of Reading in 2019.

Biggest Disappointment: Sixto Sanchez- Not that he had a bad year, but an elbow injury cut three months off his season and robbed Phillies fans of a chance to see him in Reading this summer. He should be there next year, but it was disappointing to see this injury derail his season.

Most to Prove: Alec Bohm- The Phillies nabbed Bohm at third overall in the 2018 draft. An injury put a brief halt to his rookie season, but he did return. He only hit .252 in the time he did play. The Phillies will be expecting much more from their top pick next year.
