“The Baron” is the former Philadelphia Phillies head of community relations, a role in which he served the organization for more than four decades. Larry is also a 2018 inductee to the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.

Lehigh Valley, International League North Division

**IronPigs (16–6) edged the Buffalo Bisons, 6–5, on a walk-off single by SS Andrew Romine in the 11th inning . . . Five LV pitchers combined for a club-record 19 strikeouts . . . Nick Pivetta was overpowering in getting a no decision, 6–3–1–1–3–14, wild pitch; the other 4 outs were fly balls; 101 pitches, 68 strikes. WP: Edgar Garcia (1–1), faced 2 hitters in the 11th and struck out both. Kyle Dohy, second straight rough AAA outing, faced 3 hitters, walked all 3 on 12 pitches; all 3 scored . . . 3B Mitch Walding, 2–4, run, HR (4), 3 RBI. C Rob Brantly, 3–4, run, double, RBI; hitting .405. CF Shane Robinson, 2–5, run, RBI . . . Cole Irvin (2–0), 7:05 vs. second-place Syracuse Mets (14–9).

Reading, Eastern League East Division

**Fightin Phils (11–8) won, 2–1, over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on a walk-off double by 3B Luke Williams in the 11th inning. A SF by C Austin Bossart tied the game in the eighth inning. Reading had 2 other hits, single by LF Raul Rivas and triple by CF Mickey Moniak . . . ND: Roman Rosso, 5–7–1–1–1–6, lowering ERA to 0.89, second best in the EL. WP: Jeff Singer (1–0). Luke Lefwitch extended his season-starting scoreless streak to 12.2 innings with a scoreless ninth . . . Adonis Medina (0–0), 6:45 tonight vs. the Harrisburg Senators (19–4).

Clearwater, Florida State League North Division

**Threshers (10–14) scored 3 in the top of the ninth but fell short, 7–6, to the Tarpons. Tampa trailed, 3–0, through five innings but put up a 6-spot in the sixth . . . ND: Julian Garcia, 5–5–0–0–0–6. LP: Gustov Armas (1–1), allowed the 6-run inning. . . 2B Jose Gomez, 3–3, walk, double, RBI; extended his hitting streak to 9 games (.484); .348 for the season. 1B Madison Stokes, 2–4, walk, double, run. DH Matt Vierling, 1–3, walk, run, HR (3), 2 RBI, stolen base . . . League-wide day off today . . . Spencer Howard (1–1) pitches the opener of a 3-game series Tuesday night in Fort Myers.

Lakewood, South Atlantic League North Division

**BlueClaws (8–16) ended a 7-game road trip to Georgia and North Carolina, 4–3, with a 10–3 loss to the Crawdads in Hickory . . . Crawdads hit 4 home runs including #11 by C Sam Huff; leads all minor leaguers in homers . . . LP: Francisco Morales (0–2), 3–5–4–4–0–5, 3 HR . . . Lakewood was held to 6 singles. DH Rafael Marchan, 2–4, 2 RBI. SS Jonathan Guzman extended his hitting streak to 10 games . . . Day off today. Kevin Gowdy (0–0) opens a homestand on Tuesday night vs. West Virginia Power.

**Dominican Summer League season opens June 2. Phillies will field two teams, Red and White.

**New York-Penn League (Williamsport Crosscutters) season opens June 14. **Gulf Coast League season opens June 24 at Carpenter Complex. Phillies again will field two teams, East and West.
