“The Baron” is the former Philadelphia Phillies head of community relations, a role in which he served the organization for more than four decades. Larry is also a 2018 inductee to the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.

**IronPigs (31-30) used six pitchers in defeating the Gwinnett Stripers, 5-1, at Coca-Cola Park . . . Drew Anderson (0-5), 7:05 tonight vs. Gwinnett.

Pitching: WP—Enyel De Los Santos, 5-2-0-0-1-6 . . . Luke Leftwich, 1-0-0-0-0-2 . . . Tom Windle, 1-1-0-0-0-1 . . . Kyle Dohy, 1-0-0-0-0-1 . . . Seth McGarry, .2-1-2-1-1-2-0, wild pitch . . . SV: Yacksel Rios (6), .1-0-0-0-0-0; a seven-pitch save (five strikes) with the bases loaded.

Hitting: Scored four unearned runs with two out in the first inning on three singles, an error and walk; 3B Mitch Walding singled in two runs as did 1B Damek Tomscha . . . Walding wrapped up the scoring with his 9th homer in the eighth inning; 3-4, two runs scored . . . 2B Ali Castillo, 2-4, run.

Familiar Faces: 2B Andres Blanco was 0-4, first-inning error, and 1B Pedro Florimon, 0-3, for Gwinnett.

**Fightin Phils (35-26) split a pair against the Erie Sea Wolves at FirstEnergy Stadium . . . Mauricio Llovera (2-2), 7:10 tonight vs. Erie . . . Reading and Trenton are tied for second, 1/2 behind first-place Hartford with six games left in the first half.

Game 1# (Completion of May 30 game suspended by rain), 5-4 win on a walk-off RBI single by Grenny Cumana in the 10th inning . . . Fightins jumped out with a four-run third inning. Cumana began that rally with a single. Inning included three walks, error, passed ball and RBI singles by SS Arquimedes Gamboa and 1B Darick Hall . . . Fightins had 13 hits and left 12 runners on base . . .  Jose Taveras took the ball when the game resumed in the second inning, 4.2-5-2-2-1-3. WP: Connor Brogdon (1-1), 2-0-0-0-0-0.

Game #2: (7-innings), lost, 5-3, when Erie pushed across two runs in T7 . . . ND for starter Bailey Falter, 5-6-3-3-2-4 . . . LP: Jonathan Hennigan (0-1, 0-2 overall), 2-3-2-2-0-2 . . . 3B Austin Listi, 3-3, run, 3-run HR (6) in fourth inning; also had a pair of singles.

**Threshers (35-29) were shut out by the St. Lucie Mets at Spectrum Field, 5-0, ending a four-game winning streak . . . Third loss this month in 10 games, two via shut outs . . . Same teams in 10:30 morning game today, Julian Garcia (4-4) . . . Loss eliminated from any chance of finishing first in the first half.

Pitching: 15-year Major League veteran RH Ervin Santana, six shutout innings for the Mets . . . LP: Andrew Brown (2-4), 5-5-3-3-3-1, HR, hit batter.

Hitting: Threshers were held to three doubles and one single . . . 1B Alec Bohm, 1-1, double, three walks . . . DH Roman Quinn, 2-4, double, stolen base (third base).

All-Star: 3B Alec Bohm has been added to the North Division squad for the June 15 All-Star Game in Jupiter.

Game #2: 6-5 final as DH Kyle Marinconz hit a two-out, three-run walk-off homer in the seventh inning off LP Luis Ramirez (0-1) . . . Starter Kyle Glogoski, 4-4-3-2-2-6, HR, throwing error; prior to tonight he had given up three runs in seven games (two starts) . . . 1B Miller, 2-4, RBI . . . DH Carlos De La Cruz, 2-3, RBI . . .
