On the Tuesday June 11, 2019 edition of Locked On Phillies, Phillies Nation Editorial Director Tim Kelly reacts to the Phillies allowing eight home runs in a 13-8 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks Monday evening. Specifically, Kelly wonders if there doesn’t need to be an immediate addition made to the starting rotation.

Later in the show, Kelly looks at Scott Kingery’s two home run performance Monday and previews the Phillies Tuesday evening matchup with the Diamondbacks.

They also need multiple hitters since Hernandez, Harper, Hoskins and Franco are a gaping hole in the lineup. Those 4 guys out of 8 represent a 50% problem.

Hoskins can’t hit the side of a barn and then decides on Sunday he won’t run to first base on a pop up with bases loaded and 2 outs.
