**IronPigs (29-29) lost, 3-1, to the Bisons in Buffalo . . . Game two of the weekend series, 6:35 tonight, Tyler Viza (0-4) . . . Tied for second place, 4 games out.

Pitching: LP: Tom Eshelman (1-1, 1-4 overall), tossed a complete game, 8-10-3-3-1-5, home run. All three runs came in the fourth inning, including a two-run homer.

Hitting: Six different batters had one hit each . . . CF Nick Williams, 1-4 . . . 1B Matt McBride, the lone extra base hit, a double . . . DH Lane Adams (6) and SS Andrew Romaine (13) had stolen bases.

**Fightin Phils (33-24) powered their way to a 9-4 win over the Harrisburg Senators before 6,590 fans to open a weekend series at home. . . JoJo Romero (0-2, 2-4 overall), 6:45 tonight . . . Third place, 1/2 game behind Trenton and 1 game behind first-place Hartford. Ten games left in the first half.

Pitching: WP: Adonis Medina (4-2), 6-2-1-0-3-5; fourth straight win, at-bat, 1-1, walk, run, double, RBI. . . Aaron Brown, 0-1-3-2-3-0 . . . SV: Connor Brogdon (2), 3-2-0-0-1-4; 24 strikeouts in 14 innings, three walks, eight hits for Fightins . . . Defense turned four double plays.

Hitting: Half of their 12 hits went for extra bases . . . 3B Austin Listi, 3-4, run, RBI, home run (5) . . . 2B Luke Williams, 2-4, two runs, RBI, double, home run (3) . . . LF Josh Stephen, 2-5, run, RBI, double . . .
