“The Baron” is the former Philadelphia Phillies head of community relations, a role in which he served the organization for more than four decades. Larry is also a 2018 inductee to the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.

Lehigh Valley, International League North Division

**IronPigs (33–36) ended a 6-game losing streak with a 9–4 win in Toledo . . . 8-game road trip continues at 7:15 tonight against the Clippers in Columbus, Enyel De Los Santos (3–3).

Pitching: Starter Tyler Viza picked up the win (1–6), 5–5–4–4–1–5, HR . . . Solid bullpen followed — Luke Leftwich, 1–0–0–0–0–3, Kyle Dohy, 1–0–0–0–0–2, Tyler Gilbert, 1–2–1–1–0–1, Yacksel Rios, 1–0–0–0–0–1.

Suspended game: 1–1 after 7, the game from the night before was suspended by rain . . . RubberDucks won, 3–2, scoring 2 in T8 while Fightins came back with 1 . . . LP: Addison Russ (1–4), 1–2–2–1–0–1 . . . 1B Darick Hall, 2–3, walk, run, double (17), RBI.

Pitching: Gilmael Troya, fourth Lakewood pitcher, won (2–0), 3–1–0–0–0–3, hit batter.

Hitting: SS Jonathan Guzman, 2–4, run; started 10th inning as the courtesy runner on 2nd base; stole third base and scored winning run on a sacrifice fly by DH Abrahan Gutierrez . . . Trailing, 3–0, the Claws took a 4–3 lead on a grand slam by 2B Luis Garcia in the 3rd inning, his 3rd HR.

**Crosscutters (2–5) lost a doubleheader at State College . . . Home tonight vs. the Batavia Muckdogs, 7:05.

Game #1: 7–4 loss . . . Starter and loser, Rafael Carvajal (0–1), 2.2–7–6–6–2–4 . . . Cutters held to 4 hits.

Game #2: 7–6 loss on a 2-out, 3-run homer by DH Dariel Gomez in the bottom of the 7th off Blake Bennett (0–1) (BS, 1); all 3 runs were unearned as the result of a fielding error by 1B Connor Litton to start the inning . . . 3B Edgar Made, 1–3, HR (1), 2 RBI . . . DH Juan Aparicio, 2–3, 2 runs (double, triple) . . . Litton, 2–3, RBI, stolen base.
