“The Baron” is the former Philadelphia Phillies head of community relations, a role in which he served the organization for more than four decades. Larry is also a 2018 inductee to the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.

Lehigh Valley, International League North Division

**IronPigs (28-28) slipped to .500 with their sixth loss in the last seven games, 13-2, to visiting Pawtucket.  The Red Sox scored 11 runs over the last four innings . . . Drew Anderson (0-5), 7:05 tonight vs. Pawtucket.

Pitching: Six pitchers, including infielder Jose Anteguera who was on the hill in the ninth, were tagged for 13 hits and charged with 10 walks. No one had a hitless or scoreless outing . . . LP: starter Enyel De Los Santos (2-2), 3.2-2-1-1-3-3.

Hitting: Pigs had nine singles, one double and one walk . . . DH Rob Brantly, 4-4, run . . . SS Malquin Canelo, 2-4, run, double (15) . . . 1B Andrew Romine, 2-5, RBI.

Reading, Eastern League Eastern Division

**Fightin Phils (31-24) out-hit Akron, 5-3, but were shut out by the RubberDucks, 2-0 . . . Game was delayed an hour at the outset by rain . . . Ramon Rosso (3-2), 7:05 tonight in Akron in the series finale . . . Reading is in fourth place, 2.5 games out of first with 12 games remaining in the first half.

Pitching: Starter Mauricio Llovera, LP: (2-2), 6-3-2-2-2-8, two wild pitches . . . Jakob Hernandez, 2-0-0-0-0-2.

Hitting: Five different players had one hit each while two others drew a walk each . . . RF Grenny Cumana, 0-4; hitting streak ended at 10 games.

Clearwater, Florida State League North Division

**Threshers (31-28) lost their first game to the Jupiter Hammerheads, 1-0, getting only two hits.  Clearwater won the first six games . . . Ethan Evanko (2-0), 7 p.m. series finale today, the final meeting between the two clubs.

Pitching: SS Demetrius Sims homered off loser Julian Garcia leading off the third inning for the lone run. Garcia (4-4), 6-4-1-1-3-6, two wild pitches . . . Zach Warren, 2-0-0-0-0-3 . . . Grant Dyer, 1-1-0-0-0-2 . . . 11 strikeouts boosted the staff’s league-leading total to 589.

Hitting: SS Nick Maton and LF Ben Aklkinski each had a single . . . Maton and CF Simon Muzziotti each walked; Muzziotti stole his ninth base . . . Clearwater streak of 33 consecutive games with an extra-base hit came to an end.

Lakewood, South Atlantic League North Division

**BlueClaws (21-37) blanked the Hagerstown Suns for the second straight game, this time, 3-0. In sweeping the three-game series, Lakewood improved its record over the Suns to 9-3 . . . Greensboro follows for a five-game series in four days.  Dominic Pipkin (2-1). 7:05 tonight in the series opener.

Pitching: Two pitchers combined to shut out the Suns on two doubles; Claws fourth shutout of the season . . . ND for starter Kyle Glogoski, 5-2-0-0-0-6 and a hit batter; lowered ERA to 0.76; in 23.2 innings, he’s allowed two earned runs while striking out 39 . . . WP: Tyler McKay (2-3), 4-0-0-0-1-2.

Hitting: Lakewood won, 1-0, the previous game getting only three hits. Yesterday, they had four hits, including a pair of triples . . . C Rafael Marchan’s RBI single gave the Claws a 1-0 lead in the sixth . . . RBI triples by RF Carlos De La Cruz and Yerwin Trejo added two more runs in the next inning.  De La Cruz was 2-3.

**New York-Penn League (Williamsport Crosscutters) season opens June 14.

**Gulf Coast League season opens June 24 at Carpenter Complex.  Phillies again will field two teams, East and West.
