“The Baron” is the former Philadelphia Phillies head of community relations, a role in which he served the organization for more than four decades. Larry is also a 2018 inductee to the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.

3B-1B Alec Bohm batted 4th for NL and played the entire game, 1–4, run scored. Game ended in 2–2, 8-inning tie.

Lehigh Valley, International League North Division

**IronPigs (42–44) lost a pair to Pawtucket Red Sox . . . 3-day All-Star break starts today . . . Season resumes Thursday night in Rochester . . . Next home game won’t be until July 23, Toledo.

Game #1: 5–3 decision in the game that was suspended by rain after 2 innings on Saturday night with the Red Sox leading, 3–0 . . . LP: John Curtiss (0–1) . . . Pigs held to 7 singles . . . LF Nick Williams, 0–4, ending his club-record 24-game hitting streak.

Game #2: 5–4 in a 7-inning game . . . LP: Jose Taveras (1–1) . . . 3B Phil Gosselin, HR (#2).

AAA All-Star Game: Wednesday night in El Paso, International League vs. Pacific Coast League. Austin Davis is on the IL roster. C Deivy Grullon was also selected but will miss the game as he’s on the IL with a fractured toe.

Transactions: RHP John Curtiss released. RHR Alexis Rivero activated from IL.

Reading, Eastern League Eastern Division [39–28, 2nd place, 1st half]

**Fightin Phils (14–7) defeated Richmond, 4–1, as the bullpen had a brilliant afternoon . . . Finished season series 12–5 vs. the Flying Squirrels, including 8–2 in Richmond . . . Lead division by 4 games over Portland and Hartford . . . Overall record (53–35) is best in the league . . . Fightins take a 3-game winning streak into their next game, Thursday night vs. the visiting Trenton Thunder . . . 3-day All-Star Game break begins today.

Pitching: Five relievers held Richmond to 1 run (1st inning sacrifice fly) and 4 total hits . . . Seth McGarry made his 1st start since his pro rookie season in 2015, 3–0–1–1–3–3, wild pitch . . . WP Jacob Hernandez (5–0), 2–0–0–0–1–0 . . . Garrett Cleavinger, 1–3–0–0–0–0 . . . Jeff Singer, 2–1–0–0–2–4 . . . SV: Addison Russ (13), 1–0–0–0–0–0, 6 pitches, 6 strikes.

Hitting: Offense struck out 12 times but finished with 8 hits and 2 steals . . . All runs came in T3, 1B Luke Williams doubled in the 1st run, CF Grenny Cumana tripled in 2 and the 4th run came on a wild pitch . . . Cumana and SS Arquimedes Gamboa, 2 hits each.

AA All-Star Game: Wednesday night in Richmond, Eastern Division vs. Western Division.

1B Darick Hall, RHP Adonis Medina, RHP Addison Russ, OF Grenny Cumana (replacing injured OF Mickey Moniak) are on the Eastern Division team.

**Threshers (12–8) dropped a doubleheader (7-inning games) in Tampa. Offense held to 1 run and 4 total hits, 2 each game . . . Losses dropped Clearwater 3 games behind Dunedin Blue Jays, winners of 1st half . . . Home tonight against the Palm Beach Cardinals, 7 p.m.

Game #1: 4–1 decision . . . RF Danny Mayer, solo home run (#8) on a 3–0 pitch in T5 for lone run of the afternoon . . . LP: Colton Eastman (4–4), 5–8–4–3–1–4.

Game #2: 2–0 decision; both hits, singles . . . LP: Alejandro Requena (6–6), 6–6–2–2–0–8.

**BlueClaws (6–11) game in Greensboro was canceled (rain) as it was the final meeting of the season between the two teams . . . Day off today . . . Back home Tuesday vs. the Hickory Crawdads.

**Crosscutters (4–17) were rained out in Niles, OH, against the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, their 2nd straight postponement (Saturday night at home) . . . 6:05 doubleheader (7-inning games) tonight in Niles . . . Next home game, 7:05 Wednesday vs. Vermont Lake Monsters.

**West (8–2) had a league-wide day off . . . Today: Yankees West in Tampa, 12 noon . . . At Tigers East in Lakeland on Tuesday . . . Lead division by 2 games over Tigers West.

**East (4–5) has a second straight day off today . . . Host Yankees West, 12 noon Tuesday at Carpenter Complex.
