“The Baron” is the former Philadelphia Phillies head of community relations, a role in which he served the organization for more than four decades. Larry is also a 2018 inductee to the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.

In addition to the Phillies alumni and history work which Larry shares with readers here at Phillies Nation, his “Minor League Report” pieces now also run with us all during the season as well.

**IronPigs (42–44) are on a 3-day All-Star break . . . Season resumes Thursday night in Rochester . . . Next home game won’t be until July 23, Toledo.

AAA All-Star Game: Wednesday night in El Paso, International League vs. Pacific Coast League. Austin Davis is on the IL roster. C Deivy Grullon was also selected but will miss the game as he’s on the IL with a fractured toe. Injury also kept him out of the Home Run Derby.

1B Darick Hall, RHP Adonis Medina, RHP Addison Russ, OF Grenny Cumana (replacing injured OF Mickey Moniak) are on the Eastern Division team.

Pitching: 22-year-old Spencer Howard, #5 on MLB.com’s Phillies prospect list, was activated from the Injured List (shoulder strain) and made 1st appearance since April 23, no decision as a starter, 4–1–0–0–0–7; fanned first 4 batters; 40 strikes, 16 balls . . . Andrew Brown, 3–6–2–2–1–2 . . . LP: Keylan Killgore (1–2), 1–4–4–4–0–2, HR; had given up 1 run since May 17; had allowed 8 total runs in 53.2 pro innings . . . Luis Carrasco, 1–2–1–1–0–1, wild pitch, hit batter.
