Phillies Nation Perfect Season: Phillies offense destroys Brewers

Every day until Opening Day arrives, Phillies Nation will take a daily look back at a regular season victory from that particular day in history that you can watch in full in lieu of live Phillies baseball. Think of it is as your daily Phillies watch recommendation.

An approaching storm could not stop the Phillies offense. In front of a sold-out crowd on a Tuesday night, the team put up 11 runs on a Milwaukee pitching staff that struggled to throw the ball in the strike zone. Pedro Feliz, who came into this game with 11 hits in 43 plate appearances to start the 2009 season, went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and 3 RBIs. Jamie Moyer allowed four runs through six innings, with all four of those runs driven in by the infamous Phillie killer Ryan Braun.
