Bryce Harper leaves game with apparent injury

Late in the Philadelphia Phillies-Toronto Blue Jays series finale Sunday, Bryce Harper exited the game with an apparent injury.
After striking out with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning, Harper walked back to the dugout rather gingerly. He then appeared to tell Joe Girardi and Rob Thomson that he needed to leave the game because his left hip was bothering him. Harper then proceeded to grab his bats and head to the clubhouse. The next inning, Phil Gosselin replaced Harper in right field.
We don’t yet know when Harper may have injured himself or how severe it may be. MLB.com‘s Todd Zolecki says that Harper was bending over and seemed uncomfortable in right field in the top of the seventh inning, so this was seemingly something that was bothering him before his at-bat.
Clinging onto one of the final playoff spots in the National League, it would obviously be a disaster if Harper were to miss part or all of the final week of the regular season. It would be especially untimely right now, with both J.T. Realmuto and Rhys Hoskins also injured.
