The Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals will wrap up their five-game weekend series Sunday in a game that will air exclusively on Peacock.
If you are out of the Philadelphia or D.C. markets, the game will also be available on MLB.TV. Scott Franzke and Michael Bourn will still have the radio broadcast on SportsRadio 94 WIP. Oscar Budejen will have the Spanish play-by-play on the radio on WTTM 1680.
The game will begin at 12:05 p.m. ET.
This marks the first time that the Phillies have been tabbed for Peacock‘s Game of the Week, with NBC‘s streaming service acquiring rights to broadcast MLB games beginning this season.
Jason Benetti is the play-by-play voice for Peacock, and is joined each week by a game analyst that broadcasts for each of the teams participating. Rubén Amaro Jr. will be the Phillies representative. Former Phillies infielder and radio analyst Kevin Frandsen — in his first season as the TV color commentator for the Nationals — will be the other game analyst.
The Phillies are also slated to play exclusively on Peacock when they host the Chicago Cubs on Sunday, July 24 at 12:05. They’ll also appear exclusively on Apple TV+ when they open that series against the Cubs on Friday, July 22 at 7:05 p.m. ET as part of Friday Night Baseball.

So the Phillies games are back to pay per view only today. Reminds me of the days of the Comcast stronghold on Phillies games home and away. The buck wins again for Comcast.

I cancelled my Peacock subscription. I don’t want to start having multiple subscriptions to watch baseball.
