How many wins do the Phillies need to make the playoffs?

The Phillies’ magic number to clinch a postseason berth is three with four games to play. The earliest possible clinch date is Oct. 3. FanGraphs gives the Phillies a 67.1% chance to make the playoffs as of Saturday.

To make the playoffs for the first time since 2011, the Phillies have to finish with an equal or better record than one of either Milwaukee or San Diego. The Phillies own the tiebreaker against both teams.

Here’s a look at what needs to happen for the Phillies to make the playoffs.
