Opposing coach told Rob Thomson playing at CBP in postseason was ‘four hours of hell’

The Phillies were honored as the 2022 Team of the Year at the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association dinner Monday.

On hand were manager Rob Thomson, general manager Sam Fuld and third baseman Alec Bohm. Thomson spoke briefly in accepting the award, and told an interesting story of a conversation he had with an opposing coach after the postseason concluded:

While the Phillies would lose Games 4 and 5 of the World Series at Citizens Bank Park, they won their first six home playoff games in 2022, including clinching series victories in both the NLDS and NLCS at home.
