First Look: New scoreboard at Citizens Bank Park unveiled

Monday afternoon, the Philadelphia Phillies hosted their annual “What’s new this season at Citizens Bank Park” event, which was especially anticipated in 2023.

Three days before the Phillies are scheduled to host the Cincinnati Reds in their home opener, a new scoreboard at Citizens Bank Park was unveiled:

According to the Phillies, the new scoreboard is “77% larger in size than the previous scoreboard,” and is now the third largest in the league. The scoreboard is 152 feet wide by 86 feet tall and weighs 116,298 pounds.

2023 will be the 20th season of play at Citizens Bank Park, and this is the third scoreboard in the stadium’s history.
