Watch: Rhys Hoskins receives nice ovation during ring ceremony

Prior to Sunday’s series finale against the Reds, the 2022 Phillies were presented with their National League championship rings.

The rings, which were presented to 29 players and 15 coaches, are beautiful. Features include “Dancing on My Own” below the name and number on the side and “Bedlam at the Bank” engraved along with a mock up of Citizens Bank Park on the inside.

The starters from Game 5 of the NLCS were the last to receive their rings on Sunday. Rhys Hoskins, who is out for at least seven months with a torn ACL, emerged from the dugout on crutches to receive his ring. Hoskins, who was the very last player to get his ring, received a nice ovation from the crowd inside the ballpark.

Sunday’s ceremony marked the official ending of the Phillies’ celebration of the 2022 National League Champions. The hope is they can do it all again next year, with a much bigger ring.
