After taking two of three from the Colorado Rockies this past weekend, the Philadelphia Phillies (20-20) are set to open up a three-game series against the San Francisco Giants (17-23) Monday evening at Oracle Park.

A struggling Bailey Falter (0-7, 5.75 ERA and 4.69 FIP) will be the bulk pitcher for the Phillies in the series opener Monday, but he won’t technically be the starter as Rob Thomson plans to turn to Connor Brogdon as his opener.

Meanwhile, former Phillies skipper Gabe Kapler will hand the ball to Alex Wood (0-0, 2.45 ERA and 3.57 FIP) as the Giants look to snap a three-game losing streak.
