Watch: Bryce Harper hits majestic home run to give Phillies lead in Game 3

Of course it happened like this.

With two out in the bottom of the third, Trea Turner hit a ball to shortstop Orlando Arcia. The Braves shortstop, who had some interesting comments after Game 2 regarding Bryce Harper’s aggressive baserunning, saved a run for Atlanta.

Turner’s base hit set up first and third with two out for Harper against Braves starter Bryce Elder.

Elder cruised through two but ran into trouble in the third. He surrendered a home run to Nick Castellanos to begin the inning and found himself in a precarious position against Harper.

On the fourth pitch of the at-bat, Harper got a hanging slider and he absolutely demolished it for a three-run home run to give the Phillies a 4-1 lead.

Harper briefly glared at Arcia as he rounded the bases.
