http://www.hotstove.com/img/teams/hot-stove.jpgI’ll be joining Paul and Tom in a “videocast” over at HotStove.com, one of the best websites for up to the minute baseball coverage. Check out the website at 1 p.m. today as we go over the Victorino and Blanton signings, and what it all means for the Phillies.

The Mets just got Gary Matthews JR. What a wasted steroid user. The Angels with a great dump. They will pay part of his salary but he is a waste. The Mets need pitching not another corps.

The way the Mets do business is absolutely hilarious!

With all the money that the owners supposedly have, and Omar blows it all in the wrong places. Honestly, I would be VERY surprised if he doesn’t get his ass fired in the next few months.

MLBRumors reports that Shane Victorino and the Phils agreed to a three year extension worth $22 million. Now we need to get Werth signed and all will be good with the world and life in general, at least for a while.

Jayson Stark reports the “The Phillies offered Cliff Lee a three-year extension worth $60MM or so before trading for Roy Halladay. It’s unclear whether Lee and agent Darek Braunecker formally turned the offer down, but others believe Lee will seek a longer-term deal once he hits the open market after this season.”

I knew there was lots of ….

“check out the new thread, lets move the conversation there” posts from Admins before the Last 4 Comments section went away.

but that was definitely the best/easiest way to follow conversations

Especially when the other day I counted and there was something like 8 new TOPICS in the span of 24 hours … I can understand you don’t want one TOPIC to have 500 comments on it, and another with only 5 .. but you have to ride the hot conversations

BUT.. you guys give us the forum, so run it anyway you like .. it works well .. people just missed how it used to be a little
