Live Chat Tomorrow @10 am – Phillies Nation

Live Chat Tomorrow @10 am

Hey All, hope you’ll join us for another Phillies Nation Live Chat tomorrow morning at 10 as we get prepared for pitchers and catchers down in Clearwater.  The central thesis of the discussion tomorrow will be “What do you want to see from the Phillies during Spring Training?”

After a long, cold winter that continues to tighten its grip, this should be a great way to warm us all up to the thought of baseball once again.  Pat Gallen will be at the keyboard as the narrator to discuss all things Phillies on what is an important day for fans everywhere.

It will certainly be exciting to talk about the prospects of Roy Halladay, the fifth starter spot, the youngsters trying to make a name for themselves, and the health of the bullpen.

Hope to see you all tomorrow at 10 am for the Phillies Nation Live Chat!

After listening to wip today, I HATE the phillies owners even more. There is a book coming out about Harry Kalas, he was making 400,000 working for the phillies they low balled him cause they knew he loved us the fans and the city, vince sully was making 5 million a year. When harry asked for his daughter to attend the white house guest list for the championship visit, they refused harry, I liked harry a lot and he really loved this city to take way less to stay here, and i know his wife wanted to negoatiate a deal on his name being used at the restaurant and giles said no, miserable bastards owners. The book was aproved by his two wifes. I still think these owners are shit,

$400,000 to be a baseball broadcaster is pretty damn good . . .and if it wasn’t enough money, he would’ve retired

Sports Broadcaster salaries average out to $30,000 for Radio, $60,000 for TV .. while news anchors make a whole lot more.

Vin Scully had been with the Dodgers for 60 years.. and LA is a much bigger market, so he and Kalas aren’t really comparable

Im guessing there was a limit on how many people could attend the White House stuff . . .daughters of announcers probably isn’t high on that list, and shouldn’t be. Unless she is/was an employee of the team?

His wife wanted to negotiate a deal on the restaurant that they named after him at the Ballpark? . . . They did so to honor him . . . why pay money for that when the purpose was to give him the honor of having his name attached to something at the new stadium.

you very rarely have anything positive to say about anyone-or-anything to do with the Phillies organization .. from the owners, to the GM, to the players

why are you a Phillies fan if you hate everything about them?
