Say hello to Phillies Nation, version 5.0! With 12 years of blog posts and reader comments under our belt, and seven years since the last overhaul, it was time for an upgrade. We sincerely hope you like it.
Check out some of the new features:
- Obviously, we’ve given the site a face lift. The updated design incorporates more photos for a magazine-like aesthetic which should make it easier to browse between articles.
- We’re cruising on a brand new server which means faster load time, fewer outages and a more secure infrastructure.
- The navigation bar has been reorganized to both help you find what you’re looking for, as well as maybe help you find something you didn’t know was there.
- We’ve added a trivia widget to the sidebar and this page to allow you to test your Phillies knowledge and compete against other readers on the site.
- The site has been further optimized for mobile browsing, including the now ubiquitous infinite scrolling feature.
Now we know it might take some time adjusting to the new site (it certain is a big change for us, too!) but please give it a few days before reaching a final judgement. As always, we want to hear your opinions, so feel free to leave a comment or send us an email with your thoughts. Go Phils!
