We have updates!

Chase Utley is making progress. He played in a simulated game today at the ballpark, fielding grounders and taking swings from Rich Dubee. Utley played roughly three innings in the sim game. They will continue the simulated games until he feels healthy enough to go to extended spring training. But Ruben Amaro says it’s still a day-to-day thing and cautioned not to look too far ahead. Still, it’s great news that he continues to progress.

Domonic Brown was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley today and will join the Iron Pigs tomorrow. He’s been swinging the bat well lately in rehab games, now it’s on to real baseball.

Roy Oswalt will rejoin the team on Thursday and could pitch Saturday or Sunday. Oswalt has been away from the team back in his home state of Mississippi taking care of family issues stemming from violent tornadoes that once again ripped through his hometown of Weir.

JC Romero threw a bullpen session and will make one rehab appearance and could be back Tuesday or Wednesday.

LINEUP: Victorino CF, Polanco 3B, J Roll SS, Howard 1B, Francisco RF, Ibanez LF, Orr 2B, Schneider C, Lee P
