Watch: Nick Castellanos hits no-doubt-about-it home run

May hasn’t exactly been a month to remember for Philadelphia Phillies right fielder Nick Castellanos, but the slugger seems to be heating up as the calendar gets ready to flip to June.

The latest example of that came when the 30-year-old pounced on the first pitch that San Francisco Giants’ righty Logan Webb threw in the bottom of the second inning, hitting it 406 feet:

For Castellanos, it was his second home run in as many at-bats, as he hit a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the eighth inning Sunday against the New York Mets. The Phillies would go on to lose the game 5-4 in extra innings.

Castellanos heating up would be a welcome development for the Phillies, as he entered play Monday with just a .651 OPS in May. With that said, he has six hits and five RBIs in his last 14 at-bats.
