The Phillies have officially announced their deal with the Texas Rangers, which sent ace Cole Hamels and left-handed reliever Jake Diekman to the Texas Rangers in exchange for five prospects, and one veteran arm.

General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr. is scheduled to hold a press conference regarding the deal at 1:30 p.m, with Hamels addressing the media afterwards at 2 p.m.
